"Spotlight: Segredos Revelados" ganhou o Oscar 2016 de melhor filme. Embora seja o prêmio mais aguardado do ano, Leonardo DiCaprio foi sem dúvida a grande atração com a conquista da primeira estatueta de sua carreira.

O ator ganhou o Oscar de melhor ator por sua atuação no filme "O Regresso", que também rendeu a Alejandro G. Iñárritu o Oscar de melhor diretor.

"Mad Max: Estrada da Fúria" sozinho levou seis estatuetas em diferentes categorias.
